IMPORTANT: By purchasing any premium module, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to waive your right to withdrawal/refund under EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(m) and similar regulations worldwide. All sales are final upon download or receiving any kind of download link(s).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Green Meteor's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Green Meteor provides a marketplace for HumHub modules, including both free and premium extensions. Our services include:

  • Access to module downloads
  • Module installation support
  • Technical documentation
  • Customer support for premium modules

3. User Obligations

Users of Green Meteor's services agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Maintain the security of their account credentials
  • Use modules in accordance with their respective licenses
  • Not redistribute premium modules without authorization
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent licensing mechanisms
  • Not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for successfully delivered products

4. Pricing and Payments

Premium modules require payment before download. All payments are:

  • Processed securely through Stripe
  • Final and non-refundable as detailed in Section 8
  • Subject to change with notice
  • Logged and tracked for compliance purposes

5. Intellectual Property

All modules, code, and content remain the intellectual property of Green Meteor or its partners. Users receive a license to use the modules but do not own the intellectual property. Any violation of intellectual property rights will result in immediate account termination and legal action.

6. Support and Updates

Premium modules include:

  • Email technical support for legitimate technical issues
  • Bug fixes and security updates when available
  • Compatibility updates for new HumHub versions when feasible

Support is provided on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee resolution of all issues. Support abuse or excessive demands may result in support suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability

Green Meteor provides modules "as is" and is not liable for any damages arising from their use or inability to use them. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the specific module in question.

8. Refund Policy and EU Consumer Rights Waiver

All purchases of premium modules are strictly non-refundable due to the digital nature of the products and immediate access upon payment.

8.1 Express Waiver of Withdrawal Rights

In accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully performed (downloaded). By completing your purchase, you:

  • Expressly request immediate access to the digital content
  • Acknowledge that performance begins immediately upon payment
  • Waive your right to withdrawal under EU consumer protection laws
  • Confirm you have been clearly informed of this waiver

8.2 Global No-Refund Policy

This no-refund policy applies globally, including but not limited to:

  • European Union consumer protection laws
  • UK Consumer Rights Act
  • Australian Consumer Law
  • US State consumer protection statutes
  • Any other international consumer protection regulations

8.3 Technical Issues

If you experience legitimate technical issues preventing proper functionality, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve them through our support services. This does not constitute grounds for a refund but rather an obligation to provide support.

8.4 Chargeback Protection

Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes for successfully delivered digital products constitutes breach of contract and may result in:

  • Immediate account termination
  • Revocation of all module licenses
  • Legal action to recover costs and damages
  • Reporting to fraud prevention networks

9. Digital Delivery and Proof of Performance

Digital products are delivered automatically upon payment completion through our secure download system. Green Meteor maintains comprehensive logs of:

  • Payment completion timestamps
  • Download initiation and completion
  • IP addresses and user agent information
  • File integrity verification

These logs serve as conclusive proof of successful delivery and contract performance.

10. Account Termination

Green Meteor reserves the right to terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Chargeback or payment disputes
  • Intellectual property violations
  • Support system abuse

Upon termination, all licenses are immediately revoked without refund.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes must be resolved in Virginia courts, regardless of your location. You waive any objection to personal jurisdiction and venue in Virginia.

12. Entire Agreement and Modifications

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Green Meteor. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Privacy Policy

Note: Transaction logs and purchase records may be retained for legal compliance and fraud prevention even after account deletion.

License Agreements

Premium/Commercial Modules

This License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Green Meteor ("Licensor") and any individual or entity ("Licensee") that purchases, downloads, installs, or otherwise uses any Green Meteor HumHub modules ("Software").

1. Scope and Relationship to HumHub

This Software is a separately developed module designed to run on top of the HumHub platform (licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later) and uses publicly accessible APIs and extension points provided by HumHub. It does not modify or bundle any part of HumHub core.

2. Grant of License

Licensor grants Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the Software, subject to the following conditions:

2.1 Permitted Use

  • Use on up to two (2) separate HumHub instances owned or operated by Licensee
  • Modifications permitted for internal use only
  • Modified versions must retain all Licensor copyright and proprietary notices

2.2 Restrictions

  • Use beyond two (2) instances requires additional licenses
  • Distribution, resale, sublicensing prohibited
  • SaaS offerings with third-party access prohibited
  • Bundling within redistributed HumHub installations not permitted
  • Reverse engineering prohibited unless required by law

3. Support and Maintenance

Technical support, updates, and maintenance may be offered separately by Licensor.

4. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Partners License

The Partners License provides enhanced benefits for organizations and developers who subscribe to the Green Meteor Partners Program.

1. Partners Program Benefits

  • Unlimited Instances: Deploy modules on unlimited HumHub instances
  • Priority Support: Dedicated support channel with faster response times
  • Early Access: First access to new modules and features
  • Development Co-op: Opportunity to collaborate on custom features
  • Marketing Benefits: Featured listing and partner badge

2. Grant of License

Partners receive an extended license allowing:

  • Installation on unlimited instances owned/operated by Partner
  • White-label customization (with attribution)
  • Development environment and staging server usage
  • Client deployment (with active partnership)

3. Restrictions

  • Partner benefits valid only during active subscription
  • Resale and sublicensing still prohibited
  • Public redistribution not permitted
  • Must maintain attribution to Green Meteor

4. Subscription Terms

Partners License requires an active subscription. Upon subscription cancellation:

  • License reverts to standard commercial terms (2 instances)
  • Additional instances must be removed or licensed separately
  • Priority support access is revoked

5. Partnership Termination

Green Meteor may terminate partnership for breach of terms, with 30-day notice provided when possible.

Free Module License (AGPL-3.0)

All free modules provided by Green Meteor are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL-3.0).

Key AGPL-3.0 Terms

  • Freedom to Use: Free to use for any purpose
  • Freedom to Modify: Source code can be modified
  • Freedom to Distribute: Can share copies and modifications
  • Network Use: Source must be provided for network users
  • Copyleft: Modifications must also be AGPL-3.0

Important Notes

When using AGPL-3.0 modules:

  • You must provide source code to all users of your network service
  • Any modifications must be released under AGPL-3.0
  • Commercial use is permitted under these terms
  • Attribution to original authors must be maintained
